JCC Maccabi has been uniting the Jewish community through sport for over 40 years, promoting leadership growth opportunities and the development of Jewish identity. JCC Maccabi is the largest organized Jewish youth sports platform globally, with Olympic-style athletic competitions integrated with Jewish expressions of core values in every experience.
As a graphic design intern for Liquid Screen Design, I was tasked with creating unique basketball jerseys for each of the four JCC delegations -- Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, and West. Liquid Screen design has done jerseys for a few delegations in the past, but next year, their goal is to connect with as many as possible. Each jersey is inspired by something iconic to the region, exploring various color schemes, typography, and hand-drawn elements.
These jerseys will be physically sent to each delegations so they can see the design and print quality in person. It’s a great way to get them excited and hopefully build more relations for the following year.
